Tallbohov School has 400 students in grades F-6. The schools are multicultural, and many families are bilingual or multilingual. Within the organization, there is also a municipal resource school and adapted primary school.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a committed and responsive teacher with a positive outlook for teaching in grades 4-6! Your tasks will include being a teaching teacher in the school's middle stage as well as having mentor responsibility for one of the classes. You need to have a teaching license for English and Swedish as a second language.

Together with other educators in the work team, you will be responsible for creating and developing a safe and secure environment that attracts and challenges students to activity, learning, and responsibility. You want to be involved in driving pedagogical development, using current research and applying it in your work. You will plan and follow up on teaching and analyze and assess the results.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Finds it easy to collaborate with students, colleagues, guardians, and other staff. You relate to children and adults in a responsive and smooth manner and listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. You see collegial learning as a given and a prerequisite for creating new and deepened knowledge.
• Plans, organizes, and prioritizes work effectively. You develop students' ability to learn and involve them in the planning of the activities. You have high and positive expectations of the students and are solution-focused. Furthermore, you possess a strong desire to work to create the best pedagogical conditions for the students.
• Have a positive attitude towards work and act in accordance with decisions made, operational plans, goals, policies, and guidelines.
• Have good self-awareness, are secure in yourself and in your pedagogical leadership, and have the ability to take leadership both inside and outside the classroom. You work independently and are flexible.

Requirements:

• Are a licensed teacher for grades 4-6.

Meritorious:

• Previous experience in pedagogical work and in multicultural schools.

The position requires good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
